Especially with this amazing Fire Salt Donut! INGREDIENTS: 1 cup + 1 tsp all purpose flour 1 tsp baking powder ⅓ c. granulated sugar ½ tsp nutmeg ½ tsp ghost pepper salt 2 tbsp unsalted butter ¼ c whole milk, warm ¼ c plain yogurt 1 tsp vanilla extract 1 egg, beaten for the glaze: ¼ cup unsalted butter 2 tbsp whole milk 1 tsp vanilla extract 2 ounces + 2 tbsp white chocolate chips 1 cups powdered sugar, sifted 1 tsp Crystal Hot sauce (or any vinegar based hot sauce) pinch of cayenne pinch of cinnamon pinch of red food coloring Ghost pepper sea salt Strawberry pop rocks INSTRUCTIONS: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and lightly grease a doughnut pan. Sift the flours and baking powder together into a large bowl. Whisk in the sugar, nutmeg, and salt. Add the butter and use your fingers or a fork to mix into the dry ingredients as you would in making a pastry crust, until evenly distributed. Add the milk, yogurt, vanilla, and egg and stir until just combined. Do not overmix. Use a piping bag or a spoon to fill the doughnut pan 3/4th of the way full. Bake until doughnuts are a light golden brown and spring back when touched, about 10 minutes. Let cool slightly before glazing. While doughnuts are baking, prepare the glaze. In a medium saucepan, combine butter, milk, corn syrup and vanilla and cook on low until butter is melted. Add the white chocolate, continuously stirring until melted. Sprinkle 2 tbsp more of chocolate and stir until melted. Turn off the heat and add powdered sugar and stir until combined and smooth. Mix in hot sauce, cayenne, cinnamon and food coloring. Dip donuts into glaze. Place on parchment lined tray. Sprinkle with ghost pepper sea salt (to taste) and pop rocks before the glaze sets. -------------------------------------------------- Download the Soundtrack: ➤ jimmywong.bandcamp.com/album/feast-of-fiction-music-from-marbleot -------------------------------------------------- Episodes Produced and Set Designed by Abbe Drake ➤ instagram.com/abbedrakefacebook.com/makemecraftyplease Edited by Sam Waldow ➤ instagram.com/samwaldow Set Constructed by Alfred Estaca ➤ instagram.com/soopersogood -------------------------------------------------- OUR EQUIPMENT: ➤ Camera: Canon C100 Mark II amzn.to/2Lu8H1b ➤ Lens: Canon EF 24-105mm amzn.to/2PJoCvV ➤ Vlog Camera: Canon G7X Mark II amzn.to/2NoSV9M Editing Software: Adobe Premiere -------------------------------------------------- Subscribe: bit.ly/FeastOfFictionSub Check Out Our Most Requested Recipes! bit.ly/FeastOfFictionRequestedRecipes The Official Feast Of Fiction Cookbook! feastoffiction.com FOLLOW & Send us your creations! @FeastofFiction Instagram: instagram.com/FeastOfFiction Facebook: facebook.com/FeastOfFiction twitter: twitter.com/FeastOfFiction Follow ASHLEY! ➤ instagram: instagram.com/ashrachelle ➤ facebook: facebook.com/ashleyadamsonline ➤ twitter: twitter.com/ashleyquiz Follow JIMMY! ➤ instagram: instagram.com/jfwong ➤ facebook: facebook.com/therealjimmy ➤ twitter: twitter.com/jfwong #FeastOfFiction About Feast of Fiction: Feast of Fiction is a fun and innovative cooking show dedicated to creating your favorite fantastical and fictional recipes from books, movies, comics, video games and more!
